Head down to find a body that you can loot to find a Blue-Eye Knight Helm. If you continue going up the slope, five more black phantom Dreglings will appear. Once you’ve defeated them, you’ll be able to loot the body the enemies were guarding to find x1 Renowned Warrior Soul.

The visual upgrade is a jump beyond the other Soulsborne games. On that note, a flash back to Demon’s Souls’ frame-rate on PS3 is a great reminder that there is a lot of room for improvement. From the very first areas in Boletaria, you could count on a drop to 12 frames per second every time a dragon wreaks havoc on those initial bridges. The combination of multiple enemies, broad draw distance, and lots of full-res alpha for fire, really hammered Sony’s machine. And while there’s really no confirmation on the remake’s frame-rate targets, the 30fps trailer encode at least shows no drops.

If you wish to reduce the game’s difficulty, shifting the world’s tendency to white will greatly aid you in your runs. A white world Tendency will reduce enemy damage making each run easier and easier as your character gets stronger from increasing stats and gaining more weapons/armor.

On the right side, you will find another Dregling and beneath the giant door there are two more. Another Dregling will come out of a wooden barricade, located left to the giant door. On the other side of the door, there is also a Dregling, but it will remain hidden until you get much closer. On your left there is a locked door that will only open if you achieve Pure White or Pure Black World Tendency. Once unlocked, the door will remain like that even if World Tendency changes later.

I expect this number to be a lot higher for souls veterans who have not played it before, and even higher still for newbies to the franchise. There are different options for the camera in the Remake, but none of them fix this issue, one that is particularly noticeable if you are playing a Mage build where you must be locked on a lot more often. It’s really a shame that Bluepoint went through all the trouble to remake the game from the ground up, but didn’t fix these two things. Second, the camera angle is at its worst when you need it the most. This is nothing new to Souls games, so this probably won’t come as a shock to many of you.
